The Opportunity
As a Field Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to ensure the success of projects by coordinating the activities of the Field Technician labor force. You will work closely with all operational departments to ensure staffing is allocated in the best interest of the EFS customer base and the overall company goal. Reporting to Field Management, you will assist in organizing, training, and equipping the Field Technician labor force to meet project needs in a safe and efficient manner. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met and that Evergreen's customer base is satisfied.
The Responsibilities
Scheduling: Assisting in developing and maintaining a master schedule for the Field Technician labor force to ensure project needs are met with qualified and available technicians. You will need to ensure that the schedule is constantly updated in real-time, communicating any changes to the technicians and stakeholders.
Site access: Assisting with site access, clearance, and badge requirements to ensure technicians have the necessary permissions to perform their job duties on various project sites. You will need to collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that all access and clearance requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Technician training and development: Collaborating with the Field Manager to develop and implement training programs and materials for the Field Technicians, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their job duties, enhance their skills, and stay up-to-date with industry standards. You will help evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs and make necessary adjustments in collaboration with others.
Certification and resource tracking: Assisting in maintaining records of technician certifications, licenses, and resource allocation, ensuring that all technicians are compliant and equipped with the necessary resources to perform their job duties. You will work closely with HR to coordinate compliance efforts and avoid any lapses in technician certifications and licenses.
Weekly meetings: Organizing and facilitating regular meetings to inform all Field Technicians about safety and security policies, procedures, and best practices. You will take and distribute meeting minutes during safety and security meetings, project meetings, and other relevant meetings, documenting the participants' decisions, actions, and responsibilities.
Reporting: Providing regular reports to the Field Management Department on technician scheduling, certification and resource tracking, and training and development. You will need to be proficient in using various software and tools to generate reports and analyze data.
The Necessities
Valid state driver’s license
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Proven ability to develop rapport and quickly earn the trust of field technical staff and management
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to work well with others and come to work with a positive attitude
Must have, or be able to obtain, a top-secret US government security clearance (must apply for clearance within 30 days of taking on this role).
Must be able to pass a pre-employment and continuing random background, drug, and MVR screenings
Proficient with the use of ERP software and scheduling software (or must gain this within six months of being in position)

Pay range is $25 - $30 per hour for well-qualified candidates.
