Job Description
Purpose of the role
The Asset Reliability Lead will assure equipment and utilities maintainability, setting appropriate strategies and standards, and developing advanced Progressive Maintenance capabilities as well as expertise in utilities management.
You will develop the maintenance teams and agenda in building up Preventive Maintenance strategies, delivering cost reduction programs and spare parts optimization in cooperation with cluster and central resources.
You will be key in project managing an exciting change journey in implementing and moving towards a Time Based and Condition Based Maintenance programs. This role is a key leadership role in providing technical and methodological coaching, as well as fostering a strong equipment reliability culture.
While owning responsibility for all maintenance processes and performance in the SCE cluster, you will work closely with Plant Directors and central expert resources to build a strong Asset Reliability organization, maximizing the available resources: people, funds, equipment and spare parts.
Main Responsibilities
Work cross functionally to develop and implement strategic M&R and Utilities road-maps and annual operating plan. Partner with internal and external stakeholders and service providers to define and meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Engagement goals for the cluster. Establish a strong governance to review and control operational performance and continuous Improvement plan to deliver against best in class.
Be a strategic business partner to the plants Asset Reliability teams, ensuring high level reliability on plant assets through maintenance programs, supported by SAP Systems.
Provide leadership and coaching to the cluster Asset Reliability team, reducing equipment breakdowns and increasing the effectiveness of Planned Maintenance activities, moving further towards the implementation of TPM ways of working.
Delivering zero breakdowns via preventive/predictive maintenance strategies; increasing the technical mastery of the Asset Reliability teams within the cluster. Governance of the sites technical operators’ development programs
Optimizing spare parts management by Fully utilizing SAP PM and SAP IM to increase effectiveness of planning, tracking and budgeting tools.
Implementing TPM (mainly Autonomous and Progressive Maintenance) to ensure smooth steps progression of sites within the cluster
Role model Values and Principles through effective coaching, mentoring and building capability across the sites’ technical/engineering team to engage with latest benchmark practices
Interface with key stakeholders internally and externally to develop and maintain effective relationships, align priorities to deliver the company objectives, and goals
Manage the equipment capital portfolio in collaboration with the Business Development Cluster Manager. Prioritize, monitor, and ensure projects are completed in scope, on budget, and on time
What You Will Bring
Strong operational leadership experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Food Production or Manufacturing industry
Proven experience and ability to coach and develop managers
Experience in TPM, LEAN and 6 Sigma (Green or Black belt), Safety and GMP standards
A university qualified engineer with a strong financial & business acumen, and project management skills
Knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment, Progressive and Autonomous Maintenance experience. SAP PM module end user knowledge.

Demonstrated abilities in analytics and problem solving with strategic thinking abilities
