Position Description:

ATI is seeking an energetic Senior Events Administrator to enhance our ability to plan and execute high-quality events in support of our programs. The Senior Events Administrator will support the Event Planner to handle events from start to finish, collaborating closely with in-house program teams and external vendors as well as TechConnect event support. Our ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, has successfully worked on events with 500+ attendees, has experience with planning and execution of tradeshows and has a great deal of self-sufficiency in accomplishing their duties. Our goal is to more efficiently manage the significant increase in the number of program events, improve the offering at these events, and share best practices across our programs.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist the Event Planner in all aspects of the event planning process, to include: Request for Proposals, Banquet Event Orders, budget development, and communication with the venues.

  • Oversee Event Management System used at events, to include: event registration, exhibitor management, client support, exhibit module, event related eblast messaging, and incoming requests from TechConnect staff.

  • Oversee event billing and collection for all TechConnect Events.

  • Exhibit services management to include Expo floor, exhibitor management, onsite point of contact, floorplans, and event signage.

  • Handle event detailing that will include food and beverage, audio/visual, room layouts and all other vendors.

  • Assist with the contracting process of hotel/venue agreements, room blocks and vendors.

  • Collaborate with several departments within the company as well as venue representatives.

  • Handle the Onsite Event Management of TechConnect shows to include logistics, registration oversight and vendor management.

  • Support event tool use and training, specifically: Cvent, eShow, Zoom, Webex, Teams and others as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and four or more years of proven and directly related experience in events management.

A degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing or related field preferred.

Proven track record of identifying and maximizing event opportunities.

Able and willing to travel to an estimated 10 events per year or 25% travel.

Must be a self-starter who requires little to no supervision to meet corporate goals.

Excellent time management and communication skills required.

Ability to work independently.

Capable of working with internal and external teams and partners.

Experience coordinating large-scale events (500+ attendees, exhibitions, convention centers)

Familiarity with event registration software to include eShow and Cvent is desirable but not essential.

Ability to work under strict deadlines.

This position will need the ability to access US only data systems – US Citizenship is required.

Work Environment

This position is a hybrid located in an air-conditioned, environmentally controlled atmosphere, and occasionally attend meetings in technology company environments.

Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
