Abbvie is looking for a Brand Manager Immunology, Scandinavia

AbbVie is currently in an exciting phase, launching several new treatments in the immunological area, and we are looking for a Brand Manager to join our team. As Brand Manager, you report to the Business Unit Manager Scandinavia, and you are part of a cross-functional Brand Team consisting of marketers, medical experts, Market Access, Finance and Sales representatives.

You lead the launch through our highly skilled cross functional teams where energy is strong and the team spirit high. You will ensure gathering of customer experience insights across the Brand to focus the Brand Team on the delivery of patient-centric strategies and tactics. You are responsible for leading the brand planning process and ensure consistency from brand strategy creation to tactical execution.

As a marketeer in our team, you will play a significant role in the operational planning and implementation of our marketing initiatives, across channels, to ensure a successful launch.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Navigate the Global Brand Strategies into local strategies reflecting local market dynamics and stakeholder needs.

  • Secure input and stakeholders’ viewpoints to develop a robust and accurate understanding of the Patient Journey

  • Propose strategic objectives for the Brand Team based on Patient Journey findings and adjust strategies to ensure patient-centricity.

  • Lead the development of the local Integrated Brand Plans and the 1-year Tactical Brand Plan involving all relevant internal functions and stakeholders

  • Effectively manage and execute all marketing brand activities as per Brand Plan.

  • Ensure insights and viewpoints are synthesized into identification of target segments and communication objectives, to optimize brand positioning.

  • Ensure all functional deliverables are consistent with branding and deliver emotional messages aligned to Global Brand Story.

  • Guide the design and implementation of all marketing activities include innovative marketing tactics, traditional and non-traditional partnerships, multi-channel opportunities and multi-stakeholder initiatives to meet strategic brand objectives.

  • Drive monitoring of brand KPIs, track ROI measurements for all marketing activities to achieve or exceed brand plan objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, biological sciences, pharmacy, business related field, or equivalent

  • 3-5 years of experience in a brand manager position within biotech/pharmaceutical industry, with proven track record of successful marketing planning and implementation

  • Ability to lead, motivate and coordinate cross functional teams

  • Solid working knowledge of healthcare environment and evolving landscape

  • Solid knowledge of strategic and tactical marketing principles and techniques including digital knowledge

  • Solid knowledge on finance principles and processes

  • English language proficiency verbally and in writing
