The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States.

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will develop, drive, and inspire a high performing team of Talent Advisors. You will be responsible for implementing best in class strategies to support our goal of attracting and hiring top talent for our Humanitarian Services line of business across the United States. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will be a key member of a TA leadership team that is focused on creating a best-in-class employee experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide daily leadership to a team of Talent Acquisition Advisors through continuous assessment, development, and coaching to increase skill levels and ensure delivery of high-quality recruitment services to all clients.

  • Ability to lead and hold accountable a team of TA Advisors to meet and exceed performance metrics.

  • Proven experience driving the strategy and day to day operations of a team.

  • Drive sourcing capability & capacity across a geographically dispersed team to proactively build diverse candidate pools while leveraging all available talent channels to expedite the recruitment of all roles.

  • Sustain core recruitment metrics and KPI's to measure individual and team performance, as well as opportunities to improve processes.

  • Build relationships with internal hiring managers, HR partners, business leaders, and colleagues through consistent and transparent communication to establish credibility, trust, and brand awareness within the organization.

  • Use data to confidently identify roadblocks and solutions in the recruiting process as well as influence key stakeholders around important decisions.

  • Lead strategic workforce planning and forecasting conversations.

  • Solicit and monitor internal and external feedback in evaluating team performance and advocating for modifications when needed.

  • Facilitate, lead, and participate in cross-departmental projects and strategic initiatives related to Talent Acquisition, such as DEI, distributed workforce, EVP, AAP, referral programs, etc.

  • Support high-profile recruitment efforts and/or manage TA recruitment projects.

  • Participate in TA leadership meetings, engagement events and other business-specific, HR, and Red Cross events such as Town Halls, etc.

    Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience:

  • 3 years of leading direct reports required; 5 years preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of HR/recruitment experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.

  • Must understand recruitment operations/compliance

  • Experience working in HR systems like Workday & Service Now preferred.

  • Familiarity with recruiting in a compliance-driven/regulated/ fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communications, time, process, and relationship management skills.

  • Knowledge of state and federal employment regulations and regulatory standards.

Travel: May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state and Red Cross system.

For those candidates located in Connecticut and/or Colorado, the salary range for this position is: $91,200-$121,600. Note that The American Red Cross sets salary ranges aligned to a specific geographic location in which the job or employee resides. The stated salary range in this posting is an average and may not be reflective of your individual circumstances. We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location. .

  • Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and have the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
