Job id : 73115007 Key Responsibilities: Your primary responsibilities will be to effectively organize and lead cross-functional project teams using your project management skills. Using your strong planning, organization, and collaboration skills, you will independently manage a diverse scope of projects with limited supervision. The Sustaining/Technical Cost Out (TCO) projects may include, projects aimed at enhancing product features of current products to ensure customer satisfaction, addressing quality issues, maintaining on-going manufacturing line support, and reducing costs. You will plan, monitor and coordinate project tasks, as well as maintain and update project plans and schedules. You will direct the activities of internal and external team members to meet project objectives. You will also implement design changes into production for current products and provide consultation support of other engineering projects. In addition, you will proactively engage in ongoing process improvements and standard work lean office activities. Key attributes for success: Must be a flexible, self-directed, organized, dependable, proactive, and persistent project leader. Must effectively plan and manage projects, lead and coach project team members, solve problems, and make decisions with limited direction. QualificationsRequired: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field * 2 to 4 years of applied project leadership experience to include leading projects individually for a cross functional team, or as a functional lead. * Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, R.and.D, QA, Regulatory, Sourcing, and Operations. * Experience working in a heavily regulated industry * Strong communication skills and attention to details Desired Background: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field * Knowledge of Medical Device Design Controls, strongly preferred * Prior Experience with ProE, CAD, etc. * Applied experience with Microsoft Project as well as other Office Suite applications * Prior SAP, Agile, and JDE experience preferred (including product Specifications, BOMs, and Engineering Changes) Hillrom is an equal employment employer F/M/Disability/Vet/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity For more details go to URL
