Regions Hospital APC Fellow in Orthopedics in St. Paul, Minnesota

We are offering a structured and comprehensive post-graduate program to Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners interested in advanced training in Orthopedics. The HealthPartners TRIA Orthopedic Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship is a comprehensive program that offers the APC learner extensive training in Orthopedics through a variety of teaching environments and subspecialties. Having advanced clinical knowledge and procedural skills provides the APC with confidence and competence as they integrate into his/her career. Fellowship training allows APCs to refine their knowledge and skills to successfully integrate into the specialty of Orthopedics at an accelerated rate compared with on-the-job training. During the 12-month long program, the TRIA Orthopedic APC Fellow will have required rotations in specialty areas essential for proficiency in Orthopedics. The APC Fellow will spend a significant portion of their training within TRIA's multiple locations, including Methodist Hospital and Regions Hospital, with rotations to those specialty areas deemed essential for proficiency in Orthopedics at HealthPartners. Candidates must be willing to complete a 12 month training program without interruption. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasional weekends, occasional evenings. Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program (Applicants may be in final year of completing this requirement with hiring dependent upon successful completion) PA or NP students completing training are encouraged to pursue at least one rotation in Urgent Care Required Licensure/Certification: Licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Minnesota with certification by the NCCPA OR Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner by the state of Minnesota & certified by AANP or ANCC Application Requirements: Resume/CV Personal statement 3 professional letters of recommendation Transcript (unofficial or official) Please attached personal statement, 3 professional letters of recommendations, and transcript with your cover letter.
