Job Summary: Provide support to multiple programs serving individuals with disabilities. Assist in the development of services and plans to meet the needs of the community. To participate as a member of the SCS (Specialized Community Supports) leadership team; fostering an environment which supports individuals in pursuit of their hopes, dreams and personal outcomes Become an expert of standardized practices utilized by LSS. Knowledge of software used by LSS (UKG, Therap, CDS and Pathways, etc.) Assist with development of innovative and specialized services for individuals as needed. Qualifications and Requirements: A baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older; or An associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older; or A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older; or A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; and Four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications of a designated manager. 2 years of experience in training, supervisory or managerial capacity is required. Experience training groups of people on virtual platforms preferred. Ability to observe, listen and respond with dignity and respect. Ability to accept/follow through with direction. Elevated computer skills. Creative team member who can suggest and implement strategies to enhance the service. Ability to exhibit patience, self-control, flexibility, and to recognize boundaries. Driver's license required. Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record required. Reliable and insured personal vehicle required. Background Study (BGS) clearance is required.
