Including, but not limited to, coaching, mentoring, program development, recruiting, public relations, community involvement and administrative duties as assigned in compliance with all university, conference andNCAAregulations.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree2 years playing and/or coaching experience in rowing with knowledge of rules of the game and playing strategies.Ability to travel throughout the academic year and summerValid driver’s license with good driving record as needed to transport team and shellsStrong communication skills to effectively work with a diverse work force and student-athlete populationExcellent verbal and written communication skills to motivate student athletesDemonstrated ability to be self- directed and detail-orientedCPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hireAbility to pass pre-employment background check and physicalDesired Qualifications:College level and/or Division I tennis competition and/or coaching experienceDemonstrated experience working in a leadership role in a collaborative environmentDemonstrated knowledge of recruiting practicesInternational playing and/or coaching experienceGonzaga University is a Jesuit, Catholic, humanistic institution, and is therefore interested in candidates who will contribute to its distinctive mission.
