Vail Resorts Mountain Dining Staff PM Crew - CA Lodge Cafe and Bar - Winter Seasonal in South Lake Tahoe, California

Mission: To provide support to our Day Crew and prepare the lodge for the next business day

  • Assist Day Crew with closing

This will include but not limited to:

  • Assisting Floor Supervisors, GS, and cashiers

  • Vacuuming

  • Breaking down the Beach area

  • Wiping Tables

  • Garbage Removal

  • Stocking of outlets

  • Bathroom Cleanliness

  • Prepping of assorted products (see projects)

  • Adjust or rotate product to make room for new product, FIFO

  • Date all new product

  • Check all storage unit temperatures to ensure proper coolness (Let a manager or Lead Cook know ASAP if there are problems)

  • Pull product (only on Lead Cooks orders)

  • Collect all linen and put in appropriate bags

  • Clean Loading dock and take trash to the appropriate bin

  • This position requires much attention to the preparing of the lodge for the next day. Any task may arise at anytime to be completed for the next day. We are here to support daytime operations. “Grunt” work is a big component of this position and will be completed in a timely manner. Much of what we do is for the sole purpose of the next business day, to make everything easier for all employees that deal with guests on a daily basis.


This position gives employees a certain sense of freedom as you are not directly supervised. Everyone on this crew is hand picked because of your maturity, hard work, and trustfulness. The Night Crew must uphold all Heavenly policies and function as a team. Night Crew is up mountain at night when there may be unforeseeable circumstance, i.e. foul weather, logistic problems.
