Nestle QA Specialist in Sofia, Bulgaria

Quality Specialist, temporary position for a period of 1 year

  • Location: Nestle Bulgaria, Sofia Factory, 128 Evropa blvd;

  • Working time: full time, 8 hours, flexible start of working time between 8:00 and 9:00h;

  • Working conditions: temporary employment contract, for a period of 1 year;

GENERAL ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a Quality Specialist to support in specific areas of expertise such as food safety, HACCP, auditing, hygiene, pest control, microbiology food safety.

The Quality Specialist supports the team in its daily tasks and acts in accordance with the internal rules of the company as well as with the legislation.

For this position, we are looking for a self-motivated person to join the team, with a technological knowledge and a desire to learn and develop.

IN ONE OF YOUR WORKING DAYS …

  • Promote quality awareness across the company. Contribute to competence development of quality mindset across the organization

  • Define and update the specific quality procedures, instructions and tools

  • Support the Nestlé Continuous Excellence program in the quest for zero defect, including root cause analysis after incidents

  • Support activities to achieve compliance with the Nestlé Quality Management System requirements and other applicable instructions and standards

  • Deliver trainings in QA specific areas of expertise

  • Support in HACCP study, Product Food Safety Assessment, Cleaning Validation, GMP Inspections, Integrated Pest Management, Foreign Bodies Prevention, Allergen Management, Internal and External audits

  • Assess that the Nestlé Quality Management System is in place and is obtaining expected results in a given operating unit.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in science (preferred food science, microbiology, or biotechnology) with 2+ years of applicable experience. Masters in food science/technology is preferred

  • Quality and Food Safety experience within food manufacturing

  • Have experience in implementing quality assurance programs: - Participating in project teams - Leading part of a change effort - Participating in audit teams and/or improvement projects

  • Experience with implementation for external standards, including ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 required

  • Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams

  • Fluent in English, min B2 level
