U.S. Army Accession Command Program Analyst in Smyrna, Georgia

Summary About the Position: This position is located with the US ARMY Accessions Command USA 2nd Recruiting Brigade (Southeast) USA Recruiting Battalion-Atlanta Headquarters Smyrna, GA. Responsibilities Serve as primary advisor to the BN Commander on operational-level market research, data collection, and information synthesis as it pertains to recruiting market, mission analysis, and mission assignment. Analyze and recommends the distribution and allocation of BN resources to achieve all assigned recruiting missions. Conduct intelligence preparation of the market for the BN Commander on a continual basis for periodic and special requirements. Coordinate market analysis with all elements of the BN staff. Provide recommendations to affect market penetration support and prioritize production and promotional efforts for tactical-level execution. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled including conducting studies, analyze findings to make sound recommendations on issues pertaining to recruitment market/workload; conducting analysis of the recruiting mission to include market issues of the recruiting areas in order to make recommendations to supervisors for improving mission accomplishment; preparing written analysis/recommendations evaluating comprehensive market data; preparing project papers and staff reports on operating and/or new programs studied; operating a variety of automated data processing hardware and software programs in support of the market analysis function. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). Or Education: successfully completed a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. Or Combination of Education and Experience: you have less than one year specialized experiencer; and have at least two years of graduate education, but less than the required three years; and you have computed the percentage of the requirements that you meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.).
