SURGICAL TECH RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates in a patient-focused team approach of providing direct and collaborative health care in a variety of clinical settings designed to promote and restore optimal health across the life span. Performs a variety of technical procedures and activities relating to patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures. As a member of the health care team will carry out individualized programs of restorative/rehabilitative/ therapeutic activities.
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program. Surgical Technologist certification preferred. Minimum of one year's in-house experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
Ability to communicate in a tactful, diplomatic way. Ability to handle information with strict confidentiality. Willingness to upgrade skills with evolvement of technology.
