Customer Marketing Manager - Regional Grocery

This position reports to Senior Manager, Omni Performance Food Convenience and Dollar and is based in Skillman, NJ or remotely working from the following States: New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Florida or Michigan.

Role reports to: Senior Manager, Omni Performance Food Convenience and Dollar

Location: Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025 .

Travel %: 25%

Pay: $98,000 - $167,900

What you will do

Kenvue is recruiting for a Customer Marketing Manager supporting Regional Grocery. Preferred locations for this role are as follows: Skillman New Jersey or Fort Washington PA, but additional locations and remote work will be considered. Primary responsibilities include the development and delivery of a portfolio wide account-specific marketing plan supporting various regional grocery retailers. The portfolio planning process includes identifying innovative ways to launch new items and to leverage the scale of the portfolio by identifying shopper-based solutions that deliver joint value for strategic retailers and Kenvue. This role's primary contact at customers is omni-channel shopper marketing engagement teams (loyalty/personalization, marketing, ecommerce) with the requirement of successfully collaborating cross-functionally inclusive of the merchant teams at all levels in the organization. This role will work closely with the customer development team to identify new business opportunities, develop plans to innovate existing platforms, and deliver best-in-class launch strategies. This role will work with the selling team to deliver goals as it relates to profitability, sales and equity with our customers. This experience will develop and showcase the ability to strategically evaluate marketing opportunities, develop deep shopper and consumer empathy to identify and address key opportunities, and bring them to market to grow the business. This role will hone skills in building strong team dynamics, dealing with ambiguity, influencing a range of levels throughout the organization, and driving for results. Kenvue is looking for a creative, results-oriented Customer Marketing Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and has strong expertise developing strategies that are successful across the full path to purchase inclusive of digital engagement (fully integrated omnichannel planning & execution).

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of Digital 1st Omni Channel Shopper Marketing initiatives for specific business units, supporting the Retail/Customer team inclusive of Agency Partners

Develop differentiated Omni Channel Shopper Marketing programming grounded in brand, consumer, shopper, and retailer insights

Work with agency partners, retail media partners, and brand teams to develop and execute customer specific programs/campaigns that build brand equity, retailer equity and drive positive business results at retail

Co-Lead planning of annual joint business planning (JBP) for marketing / media portion of JBP

Contribute to annual strategic planning that serves as the foundation for Joint Business Planning

Align customer and internal brand teams on customer relevant programs & strategies

Fully support Omni Channel Shopper Marketing strategy development and program sell-in with customer and retail execution partners

Develop strong working relationships with internal Kenvue teams (e.g., Consumer Marketing, e-Comm, Customer Strategy, Consumer Promotion, H&W, Shopper Insight & Category Management) as well as external customer teams, including (e.g. Merchants, Marketing, Insights, Innovation and e-Comm)

Be the voice of Omni Channel shopper marketing for strategic omni/digital/collaboration with e-commerce initiatives.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of experience in Shopper Marketing/Brand Marketing/Agency/Retail Media or related field

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or related field

Prior experience leveraging consumer/shopper insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns

Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to evaluate opportunities, optimize with agility, and development of actionable plans to address opportunities

Proven track record of developing successful customer marketing strategies through to execution

Desired Qualifications

Digital / Media planning and measurement experience is preferred

Prior customer facing experience is preferred

Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills

Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex business problems
