Security PMM is responsible for leading the Security, Compliance, Identity and Management (SCI-M) Go-To-Market for their Area to deliver customer & partner success, resulting in revenue, growth and share outcomes for SCI-M Priorities. The Security PMM Lead must influence Area senior leadership and develop strong partnerships to ensure integrated execution of Security Priorities across marketing, partner, services and sales.
Security, Compliance, Identity and Management (SCI-M) business is a critical growth driver for the company. Our growth strategy consists of expanding existing customers through cross-sell and upsell, acquiring new customers, and driving new TAM opportunities in Security market.
Each Security PMM leads the field business for their solution/motion and has overall responsibilities for enabling each Area teams’ success by:
Empowering Customers to enable zero trust principles through the end-to-end Microsoft Security solutions
Building and land growth plans to win and maximize the local market opportunity, based on the WW SCI-M Solution Area priorities;
Ensuring SCI-M sales play execution and orchestration through Checklists, enabling cross-Solution Area motions
Driving business outcomes by executing local Go-To-Market plan to exceed business targets;Providing input on integrated marketing plan development by providing business objectives to CMO IMMs;
Building a comprehensive marketing plan for awareness and thought leadership, including CISO roundtables & communities, to harmonize with CMO.
Leading the Security business rhythm in alignment with other business owners
The Security PMM is required to have a strong understanding of their solution area and or motion, specifically at the 200-300 level, and a deep understanding of customer solutions and strategies and end-to-end Security market ecosystem. This role represents the relevant Security solutions, within the subsidiary and is the subject matter expert and the market facing spokesperson. In addition, they must be able to articulate the local competitive landscape and develop local compete strategies and product differentiation by leveraging corporate and local research, partner insights and customer feedback. The PMM is required to drive alignment with all BGs and therefore requires understanding at 100-200 level of all Solution Areas with focus on the cloud is essential for driving consistent GTM.
