Job Description

The Senior Brand Manager leads the delivery of the in-year commercial P&L and market share objectives. This role is responsible for developing brand growth strategy, creating engaging brand content, launching key innovation initiatives, and optimizing the marketing mix. This role is responsible for leading a cross-functional team to achieve aligned brand objectives.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Develops, leads and executes strategic marketing plans to deliver against annual brand targets. Monitors progress and provides proactive recommendations to course correct if off-track.

  • Develops disruptive creative campaigns to be executed across multiple touch points including traditional, digital, social, and in-store.

  • Builds and protects the equity of the BIC brand.

  • Manages agency partnerships to ensure all work is on-strategy, on-budget, and on-time.

  • Ensures smooth operation of the day-to-day functions of the brand, including ROI measurement, budget management, invoicing, licenses, custom item development, and SKU management.

  • Partners with Global COEs to develop and execute aligned innovation projects on existing items.

  • Supports sales materials development, category selling stories, and presentations.

  • Provides strategic input to the overall short and long-term new product development agenda.

  • Leads cross-functional brand teams to prioritize projects and resources to deliver against brand goals. Manages direct report(s) and ensures their individual development and growth.


  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • MBA in Marketing strongly preferred

  • 7-10 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods

  • Experience as Brand Manager

  • Experience working with syndicated data (IRI or Nielsen Scantrak, Panel, etc)

  • Solid MS Office skills – PowerPoint, Excel, Word

  • Demonstrated project and product management expertise

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills

  • Ability to effectively organize, analyze, and present data with solutions

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate solid leadership qualities

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority
