Build and shape our future Digital Marketing efforts for our global Domestic Appliances business in China by building an in-house digital media excellence center.

We are looking for a Digital Media Hub Lead to take on the responsibility to lead our digital media hub in China.

Your assignment and goal is to actively and successfully unlock the potential of our digital media buys, drive efficiencies and accelerate our efforts to become a best-in-class digital-first brand. The ideal candidate is a go-getter, curious and eager to innovate, to test & fail and learn & evolve. You value the importance of data and consumer insights and appreciate evolving processes. You understand marketing technology, the role of online to offline (O2O) and direct-to-consumer channels. You are a thought leader, digital evangelist, strategic thinker and strong consumer advocate with a hands-on mentality.

You are responsible for

  • Leading digital media hub for China including development of business case, operational day-2-day management and continuous improvement

  • Overseeing digital media buys from demand generation to performance marketing programs driving conversion (social media, SEA, programmatic, Affiliate, etc.) on behalf of China’s digital marketing teams

  • Driving digital media efficiencies and digital activation excellence

  • Support BMC team in developing and executing digital media strategy and working hand in hand with local D2C team to accelerate our D2C conversion performance

  • Design and execute digital media buying strategy for market in-line with global a regional digital media strategy and end-to-end digital consumer experience framework

  • Digital media KPI and target setting for local campaigns in-line with global KPI framework

  • Responsible for designing specific channel activation strategies

  • Overseeing, planning, buying and optimizing all day-2-day digital media buys in collaboration and on-behalf of the markets

  • Digital Campaign analytics and reporting, set-up of ad tracking

  • Building and driving optimization roadmap for digital media buys and evolution of paid digital media footprint

  • Work closely with global media lead in order to scale direct cooperation with key global media platforms and partners

  • Champion global-local adoption and secure consideration of regional strategic and operational needs in global digital consumer experience journey and programs

  • Media and KOL partner relationship management for paid media

  • Digital media innovation: Continuously exploring new ideas and trends to enhance your, and your team’s, outside-in perspectives and drive best-in-class digital media effort

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A Master’s degree with minimum 10 years of work experience in Digital Media

  • Digital Media agency background or comparable experience preferred

  • Progressive, digital-first mindset and strong track record of driving efficient digital media campaign programs

  • Strong strategic thinker with a passion for data and consumer insights and a hands-on mindset

  • Profound understanding of the digital media and platform landscape in China, a deep understanding of the consumers, their lifestyle and journeys throughout the online ecosystems

  • Hands-on experience of digital media planning for premium brands

  • Action oriented and data-driven, strategic mindset with holistic approach to decision-making, clearly define decision-making process, use data-driven insights and seek inputs from diverse and inclusive sets of stakeholders

  • Excellent organizational and project leadership skills with proven ability to juggle between the details and big picture, manage multiple and competing projects and priorities

  • Ability to drive a culture of always-on testing and learning, including the rapid application of consumer signals into strategy, planning, and content iteration

  • LEAN skills preferred

  • Fluency in Business English

  • Leadership experience with strong coaching and mentorship acumen

  • Excellent communication skills and awareness that enable close working relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders. Champion and prime example for strong cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration

  • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, high energy, skilled team of marketers that have a passion
