Hilton Manager, GDM APAC Support in Shanghai, China

As the Manager of Support for the Asia Pacific region, you will analyze and support the revenue management and distribution aspects of business initiatives and provide support for both hotel level and above property staff members. You will also ensure standards for rate plans, rates, product sequencing, and other related processes supported by the teams are enforced, and liaise with stakeholders, manage timelines, and ensure regional business considerations and needs are communicated to relevant departments worldwide.

What will I be doing?

·Communicate with stakeholders globally on project process and liaise w/ various departments delivering projects

·Collaborate with teams globally to define projects, agree upon timelines, and communicate progress

·Maintain and quality check offers in CRS, GDS, and direct distribution channels

·Support hotel inquiries via e-mail and ticket submission processes and document findings thoroughly

·Support other functions within the broader GDM team when demand is high through equitable workload distribution

·Proactively audit and analyze Special Rate Plans (SRPs), rates, and accounts across all distribution channels on a regular basis for issues

·Work with other corporate teams on special project/program requests that impact CRS, GDS, and direct distribution channels

·Create and maintain internal and external training and technical documentation for team-facing and hotel-facing processes

·Work with external vendors to document issues and enhancement requests and follow project management methodologies to resolve

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

·BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree

·5 years’ work experience in the travel industry, distribution systems, project management

·Knowledge of SQL, Miro, Mural, Smartsheet

·Technical /Vendor-specific courses or certifications

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·Ability to communicate in both Mandarin and English
