This role is part of a project internally called DSP2.0. This program is a new initiative to help Amazon Logistics scale its capacity by incubating entrepreneurs. We're building a suite of tools and processes to set them up for success in becoming owners of Amazon delivery companies. This leader will have stellar business acumen, can think out of the box in an ambiguous problem space, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to build a program that will significantly impact Amazon's last mile delivery capabilities globally. We are looking for an experienced Sr. Technical Program Manager with a passion for innovation and building large scale distributed systems. The right candidate will possess a strong technical management background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects across multiple teams, and will want to have a lasting impact in the back-end technology space. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. You are comfortable talking to any Senior Leader, from Director to VP to SVP. You have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and you're used to making hard-tradeoff decisions. You have a strong sense of building the right thing for your customers. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
