GSF supports the operations and supply chain for Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, 3P / Whole Foods, and other businesses. Along with these core businesses, GSF has future plans for ground-breaking customer offerings to dramatically improve click-to-deliver speeds, product selection, and expansive coverage to create a best-in-class delivery strategy. The Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for driving improvements in the software tools used in Prime Now and Amazon Fresh fulfillment centers to receive inventory and ship customer orders. They will own writing the business requirements used to design new tools to support the rapidly evolving grocery fulfillment business. This position will work with stakeholders to define/prioritize software requirements before driving implementation with software development teams. In order to accomplish this, the individual must think strategically and make data driven decisions. Successful candidates will be strong leaders who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, foster collaboration, and have a consistent track record of delivering results. You must have the experience and capability to create and present documentation for senior executives and align your roadmap with GSF's strategic objectives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. You should be experienced in working with data to analyze root causes, implementing long term solutions, and leading projects with advanced analytical, mathematical, and quantitative capabilities. Responsibilities: Deep dive fulfillment center operations to optimize and design new tools and processes Define requirements for new tools by collaborating with operations leaders and process owners Work with software development teams to implement new tools by driving initiatives from inception to implementation Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality Lead multiple cross-functional working groups at a time, to fully comprehend new features, requests, and functionality related to the software tools used in the fulfillment centers Draft technical documents that describe the detailed functionality of new tools, and benefits therein, working with operations, retail, safety, and other stakeholders Basic Qualifications BA or BS in Business, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical field from an accredited university 5+ years project/program management is required 5+ years of experience leading project delivery for large, cross-functional projects Experience documenting requirements for software features Work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment Preferred Qualifications MBA or Master's Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical field from an accredited university Experience working with software development teams Strong organizational planning and development, business judgment, and technical leadership Experience with online grocery fulfillment Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer – Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation
