Do you want to be part of a newly formed organization that is designing and launching new business models across the world?If so, the Amazon Locker+ Transportation Network Planning team is looking for an experienced leader with strong record of achieving results, for an exciting opportunity to work within the Transportation Network Planning team, to create and execute a worldwide Amazon supply chain, providing support across NA and global operations, with the ability to create this complicated network flows that involve delivery of sortable, non-sortable, reverse logistics and customer facing services: pickup, returns.The supply chain .and.amp; transportation network encompasses all of the operations required to deliver worldwide shipments from our fulfillment centers, and third party partners to our physical store network in unique different formats. This role requires innovation, thinking outside the box, and deep understanding of the network to come up with solution. It also requires working with multiple business and technical/configuration teams across the company to manage operations projects, drive continuous improvement and enhance carrier performance.Candidate must be effective in influencing leadership across customer service operations, operations teams, network planning teams, technology teams, multiple carrier partners and senior leadership. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Lead and own transportation network planning and execution supporting growth and expansion strategy.* Develop last mile and reverse logistics network strategies and models to service new unique physical store formats in urban and rural areas.* Lead cost reduction initiatives and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in Amazon's transportation network.* Proactively manage and monitor transportation network to identify, address and prevent potential issues. Develop performance metrics to assist with driving business results.* Continual, strategic and tactical communication with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Site operations, Retail, Finance, Support, Sort Centers, Fulfillment Centers, Transportation technology).* Ability to pull data and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.* Must be able to systematically escalate problems or variance in the operating plan to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.* Excellent communication, both verbal and written as you will be required to convey updates on issues, operational status and business drivers during daily/weekly and leadership reviews.Basic Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related area,* 7+ years of work experience in operations, retail management, customer service or Fulfillment industries, and/or 3+ years of Amazon experience* Prior full-cycle program/product management experience in a similar industry.* Prior experience driving decisions through data and analytics, utilizing tools such as SQL, Tableau and Excel* Needed Skills and Abilities- Influencer: Innovative with the ability to identify opportunities and influence organizations to gain support and overcome resistance with data and persuasion.- Leader: Significant experience leading teams to consistently deliver
