The Consumables Customers Engagement Team is tasked to drive Amazon's share of wallet, which means having more customers to buy their everyday essential more frequently on Amazon.com. Our challenge is to accelerate customers' habit shift from buying their everyday essentials in store to online, which requires to innovate on behalf of customers. To do so, we look for insights, turn them into new ideas, experiment quickly, fail fast or scale what works. As a Senior Marketing Manager in the Consumables Customer Engagement team you will lead existing innovative projects and recommend new ones. In this role, you will be expected to flex both analytical and creative muscles, work at both strategic (generating and articulating ideas) and executional levels (implementing campaigns/experiments) and partner and influence cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include: Lead the existing cross-functional program aiming at introducing customers to new subcategories at scale. Nurture and develop existing projects aiming at driving early discovery of Consumables and building loyalty. Articulate new ideas and design their experimentations. Implement A/B testing, define clear success criteria, analyze key metrics to measure attribution / performance and recommend way forward. Work with cross-functional teams in Consumables (e.g: CCX, Category teams, our Insights and BIE leads) as well as central teams such as Prime, XCM, P13N, CBA, Clickstream, SnS ... This role requires an individual with relentless curiosity, excellent analytical and project management skills, strong business acumen as well as outstanding ability to communicate clearly and collaborate. The candidate must be a self-starter, able to roll up his or her sleeves, deal with ambiguity and work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. * The Consumables business refers to non-perishable everyday essentials including but not limited to beauty, hygiene, health & personal care products, baby & baking products, beverages, cereals, coffee, detergents, cleaning & households, products, vitamins & nutrients, snacks etc... Basic Qualifications 7+ years product and/or marketing experience, ideally in a fast-moving ecommerce business Demonstrated success in building measurable online marketing programs and/or launching innovative products. Ability to think strategically and operate with autonomy. Proven analytical skills and ability to use data and insights to back up assumptions and develop business cases. Proficiency with Excel and basic SQL. Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills. Excellent relationship building skills and ability to earn trust of multiple groups and teams. Strong organizational skills including prioritization, scheduling, time management, and meeting stretch deadlines. Bachelor's degree. Preferred Qualifications Genuine curiosity and comfortable with ambiguity. Excellent collaborative and problem-solving skills. Proven experience working with marketing tools including email, web analytics, weblab, promotions and merchandising platforms (expertise in Amazon's tools is a plus). MBA or advanced degree.
