Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are adding a Senior Information Security Analyst to our growing Technology division in Seattle, WA. This person will increase the security team's capabilities by offering a well-rounded and deep understanding of security threats and risk mitigation strategies. Leveraging extensive industry and previous experience, this role provides thorough analysis of complex security issues and possesses hands-on capabilities with current technologies and tools. Additionally, the senior analyst effectively communicates security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a cohesive and informed approach to maturing the security posture. Some additional responsibilities include: Take lead in response to security incidents, coordinating remediation efforts across teams. Ensure alignment to industry standards and provide input to security strategy development. Contribute to drafting security protocols and take lead on security projects as assigned. Continuously monitor and provide recommendations for improvements. Conduct vulnerability assessments, identity and mitigate security risks. Maintain real-time visibility into threat impacts to McKinstry. Development of actionable project milestones that show continuous improvements. Demonstrate effective cross-functional team collaboration and communication. Contribute to planning and execution towards increased security maturity (e.g. compliance, certification) Other related duties assigned as needed. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry CISSP (or equivalent) certification. Deep knowledge of security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO, SOC, GDPR). Expertise in threat analysis (identifying, analyzing, mitigating threats). 5+ years' experience with Information Security tools, concepts, and practices. 5+ years' experience with Microsoft AD and Azure technologies Experience with drafting security policy, procedure, and standards.
