Title: Senior Implementation ConsultantOverview of PositionThe Implementation Consultant is responsible for current workflow analysis and development; documenting, planning and implementation of future state workflow and customer training.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Design Future State Workflow (including System Workflow and Department Process Workflow); determine application optimization within the department and provide the customer with Best Practice methodologies

  • Analyze unique configurations of customer sites and customize processes and training accordingly; develop training plans and documentation; coordinate and provide Super-user application training; ensure that course completion certificates are supplied to customer sites in a timely manner; ensure that all Super Users are able to train customer End Users and understand any unique customer site requirements

  • Provide Application Training and support to other (McKesson Imaging Group) MIG staff from other groups as required; identify, file and Follow-up Product Features and issue requests during implementation; proactively involved in change management processes related to implementations

  • Mentorship – act as a mentor for new and developing staff and be a resource for current staff. Assist with individual training needs; assist in staff evaluations focusing on individual job knowledge and level of competence; new employee training - assist with on-boarding and readiness to take on customer assignments

  • A Major contributor to process improvement; expected to drive or lead special projects/initiatives

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • RCIS, RN or RTR with 5+ years of Cath Lab experience

  • Strong Hemodynamic background, a sound understanding of cardiology department workflow

  • The familiarity of document/registry standards and credentialing such as JCAHO, NCDR, STS, ICAEL, ICAVL and ICANL

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Informatics, Computer Science, and/or Health Sciences a plus

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Cardiac Echo and/or Nuclear Medicine experience a plus

  • Cardiac Echo and/or Nuclear Medicine experience a plus

  • Knowledge of medical communication protocols a plus (i.e. DICOM / HL7/XML)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in an understandable manner

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong Presentation and Training abilities to a wide variety of audiences

  • Demonstrates confidence in the ability to articulate recommendations to the customer

  • Independent, Self-starter, self-directed

  • Team Player

  • Strong Customer Service skills

  • Intermediate IT skills

  • Strong understanding of Clinical Environment and Health Care Operations

  • Ability to mentor

How much should I expect to travel?

Approximately 75%
