Amazon's HR organization is seeking a flexible, adaptive HR Leader to provide to provide strategic and hands-on organizational support for the Alexa/Devices, Biz Dev and G&A HR organizations. In total, there are over 700 employees globally in HRBP, Talent Acquisition and HR Specialist job families. We are looking for an experienced HR leader that will demonstrate business acumen and innovative thinking about scaling for high growth. In this role you will apply business and functional knowledge to inform and drive the short- and long- term HR priorities, including operating model design, workforce planning and talent management. You will partner with senior HR leaders to develop and execute plans for building leadership and management capability and creating organization designs that align to the HR priorities. You will demonstrate analytical capabilities and be able to influence with data-driven recommendations. We are looking for a business partner who has the ability to proactively plan and design, as well as identify and diagnose issues in order to drive solutions. Responsibilities: Partner with HR VP and Directors to develop, implement and evolve HR strategies to support the agendas of the HR organizations in areas such as performance management, talent development and organization design Consult on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning and skills assessment Provide coaching to leaders Consult with managers on employee performance and development Effectively engage, partner and consult with recruiting partners to meet the talent acquisition needs for the organizations Use influence and coaching skills to cultivate a culture that reflects the mission and tenets of the organization Review and analyze business data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve employee engagement, performance, retention and employee experience Assess leadership and employee development training needs and conduct 1:1 and/or group training sessions as appropriate Partner with central teams to assess the human resources needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development and leadership development Travel as needed In HR at Amazon, we strive to build a workplace for Amazonians to invent of behalf of customers.
