What We DoTypically focused on Internal/Employee Communications which provide a variety of information to employees but may also be responsible for external communications for a division or group which focus on brand/product awareness. Duties may include communicating the Company's mission, strategy, policies, and performance, compensation, benefits, and other company initiatives, programs, and policies. Develop external content to support the division and/or products. Develop and distribute print based and digital communications (e.g., corporate policy manuals, internal newsletters, articles, press releases, etc.) Review and edit function-specific documents drafted by subject matter experts to ensure they are written appropriately for the targeted audience and comply with organization style guidelines. Typically focused on Internal/Employee Communications which provide a variety of information to employees. Duties may include communicating the Company's mission, strategy, policies, and performance, compensation, benefits, and other company initiatives, programs, and policies. Develop content to support the division and/or products. Develop and distribute print based and digital communications (e.g., corporate policy manuals, internal newsletters, articles, press releases, etc.) Review and edit function-specific documents drafted by subject matter experts to ensure they are written appropriately for the targeted audience and comply with organization style guidelines. What You'll Do: Write/edit and oversee production of internal and/or external communication pieces for various audiences, including executive management, business leaders, managers, and general employee population and external audiences. Partner with content owners to translate business or technical jargon into an easily understandable language, drafting and editing new content, working with management for feedback and wording approvals, and sending out the final product. Provide guidance and professional input in the creation of communications efforts and campaigns Provide input on overall design and strategy for Web and email communications Ensure that messages are consistent in both tone and content Assist in the management and ongoing promotion of the online community as a communication, knowledge management and collaboration platform May coordinate business unit town meetings and webcasts What You'll Bring: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and teamwork skills Self-motivated; self-starter Ability to manage multiple tasks, respond quickly to emergent problems, and focus both on long-range projects and immediate tasks Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator & Premiere) Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 8-10 years of experience in communication or marketing or other equivalent experience involving written communication skills Pay Range: $63,540- $112,960 Annually This hiring r
