Amazon Corporate LLC Finance Manager in Seattle, Washington

Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager to support Supply Chain for Global Specialty Fulfillment, which drives operations for some of Amazon's most exciting and fast paced initiatives: Prime Now, Fresh, Pantry, Amazon Go, and others. An efficient supply chain network is a critical success factor for these businesses, and this role will provide important insights to measure that efficiency. This role will own financial controllership for all inbound transportation costs for a new business and will provide decision support for capacity and topology strategy across all GSF businesses. The ideal candidate will be comfortable diving deep and managing complex datasets while deriving and communicating insights at a higher level.Job Responsibilities* Provide weekly and monthly reporting on total US network inbound transportation costs, identifying trends and insights. Ensure month-end costs are recognized accurately.* Plan inbound transportation costs for quarterly forecasts and annual plans, taking into account future business initiatives.* Identify and support cost-out initiatives to continue to improve network efficiency.* Provide decision support for capacity and topology analyses, evaluating the full financial impact of multiple scenarios and articulating findings in whitepapers.Essential Skills* Strong financial acumen including familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis* Excellent communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of management* Excellent grasp of corporate finance fundamentals* Strong resourcefulness and ability to find or develop compelling data given limited resources and time* Strong experience and comfort working with large and complex sets of data* Comfort working with ambiguityBasic Qualifications* BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or similar degree* Minimum 7 years of finance experience, or master's degree and 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAmazon is an Equal Opportunity Employer .and.ndash; Minority / Women / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation / Age
