Job Responsibilities include:* Identifying opportunities and driving savings through Procurement objectives* Lead others, further develop exceptional talent, and encourage your teams to challenge assumptions* Champion recruiting efforts across the network to continually hire and develop the best* Lead finance and accounting activities across Procurement environment and oversee all program and project spending* Oversee project spending for several billions dollars and drive efficiency and productivity initiatives across the NA Customer Fulfillment Network* Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability* Oversee the network's weekly and monthly close processes, the planning, forecasting, and reporting models while driving their continuous innovation and communication to both your operations team .and.amp; other business partners* Work with data providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timelyBasic Qualifications* BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering or similar discipline with analytical bias* 5+ years relevant experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results* 3+ years' experience directly supervising teams and developing people* 3+ years of experience with advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.)* Ability to travel; 10%+ travel expected, primarily to local operations, in addition to regional support* 3+ year's familiarity with concepts of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesAmazon is an Equal Opportunity Employer .and.ndash; Minority / Women / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation / Age
