Aston Carter Recruiting Coordinator in Schaumburg, Illinois

Description:

  • Responsible for candidate sourcing, pre-screening, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, verifying references, and coordinating or making job offers.

  • Determines candidate requirements by understanding job descriptions and qualifications needed.

  • Builds recruiting channels to attract top talent by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, media, job boards and social and internet sites.

  • Manages the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.

  • Work with the marketing team to craft timely messaging for recruiting drip campaigns.

  • Attracts candidates by marketing open positions and sourcing passive candidates.

  • Develops a pool of qualified candidates via use of ATS - keeping pipeline engaged.

  • Works with Talent Manager to ensure all new employees are provided an excellent and smooth pre-boarding experience.

  • Responsible for sourcing and filling summer intern positions - sourcing needs, determining roles, marketing the positions and coordinating candidate interviews.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience (mortgage sales preferred), including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting.

  • Proactive approach to recruiting and experience building talent pools/talent communities.

  • Comfortable with cold calling candidates and overcoming objections.

  • Knowledge of the mortgage loan origination process (refinance and new home purchase) preferred.

  • Strong listening & follow up skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and work as a team to meet deadlines.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-directed and highly organized

  • Excellent sales/prospecting experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work well with team members at all levels of the company

  • Ability to make informed decisions based on data.

  • Excellent computer/technology skills

  • High degree of integrity in dealing with sensitive information.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
