This position will be key in helping PayPal deliver great customer experiences at the same time it meets the complex, ever-changing regulatory requirements in the financial industry. This person will define and deliver product solutions that ensure we comply with regulatory obligations at the same time we deliver great experiences for customers and good results for our shareholders. This will involve setting the course for your own team of engineers as well as influencing across the PayPal product organization to make sure we are taking care of the customer through their full journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead across the organization in defining and delivering solutions that support amazing customer experiences and serve our business while ensuring we comply with regulations across the globe

  • Lead a cross-functional team in creating and launching innovative web experiences across desktop and mobile interfaces and building/leveraging platforms so that new experiences can be launched in a scalable manner

  • Understand PayPal’s strategic and competitive position in the market to develop a global product strategy and roadmap

  • Identify, design, experiment and iterate on initiatives leveraging usability testing, data, and market research

  • Define and analyze key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions

  • Develop an engaging product that drives activation and adoption for new users and retention and engagement for existing users

  • Collaborate with global cross-functional team to develop, market, and launch product globally

  • Use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of consumer web or mobile product management experience

  • 2+ years experience managing products including compliance requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering successful large-scale products

  • Experience designing simple and intuitive web user interfaces

  • Able to understand technology and partner closely with engineering in defining solutions.

  • Strong sense for visual design and detail

  • History of leading and executing in fast-paced, high-growth, uncertain environments

  • Deep empathy and appreciation for user needs

  • Comfortable using data and analytics to inform product decisions

  • Ability to lead cross-functional groups and drive action

Desired Skills:

  • Experience managing platforms and mobile-first web interfaces

  • Understanding of our regulatory environment

  • Experienced in creating unique, pro-customer solutions in a highly constrained regulatory environment
