PayPal is looking for an experienced Deal Desk Manager to help build out and manage end-to-end execution of complex deals and streamlined approval processes. The position offers the opportunity to join a team focused on designing and executing process improvement initiatives that align sales efforts to global strategies.

The Global Deal Desk Manager will drive revenue by leading a team of 4-5 Deal Desk Coordinators who work cross-functionally between sales, pricing, legal, finance, and underwriting in an effort to shorten the cycle time for our sales team.

  • Serve as a strategic and tactical business partner to the sales organization and support functions to facilitate complex deal approvals

  • Serve as an escalation point across stakeholders to identify friction points within sales processes and help move deals forward

  • Optimize and manage a continuous deal pipeline by ensuring sales follows deal desk guidelines

  • Proactively lead succinct communication with sales leaders and potential deal challenges

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant, providing white glove treatment and lightening the administrative burden to our top deal pipeline

  • Coach and develop Deal Desk Coordinators to help elevate deal structuring and negotiating capabilities

  • Manage and align goals for each Coordinator and conduct review processes

  • Continuously revise deal desk processes to enable best practices

  • Create and maintain standard documentation and improve governance

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience with 2 years' minimum leading a team

  • At least 1 year managing a Deal Desk highly desired

  • Previous experience as a Sales Rep would be a huge plus

  • Knowledge of B2B sales cycles and practices in an enterprise tech environment

  • Leadership track record in developing and managing a diverse and inclusive team

  • Entrepreneurial drive to build standardize and simplify complex processes

  • Resourceful with ability to adapt to changing requirements

  • Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with a large, matrixed global team a plus
