The PayPal Credit team is responsible for the mobile/web applications and services that provide PayPal Credit to our US and International customers. PayPal Credit is a strategic part of the PayPal business plan with important revenue-generating projects that will impact overall company performance. We are looking for a self-motivated Front-End JavaScript engineer. The perfect candidate will demonstrate great execution skills and a passion for delivering superior user experiences. Requirements:
Production Node.js application development experience.
Production JavaScript application design and testing experience.
A solid experience building applications on top of RESTful APIs.
Solid knowledge of web application frameworks such as React and Redux.
Experience with web frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Webpack, LESS, Bootstrap, and jQuery/Dojo/YUI.
Solid knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, and componentization approaches.
Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the web.
Experience developing automated unit, integration and functional test suites.
Assist with application deployments in our Cloud environment.
Strong desire to learn, push the envelope, and share knowledge with others.
B.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science is desired
A successful engineer:
Write web application code following best practices of accessibility, internationalization and instrumentation.
Partner closely with design & product to craft great product experiences.
Be a crafts(wo)man and encourage code craftsmanship across team.
Deliver code in an agile team environment.
Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
