The Team – Global Marketing Operations Transformation & Enablement:

Historically, all Regions (NA, EMEA, APAC) have run separate Marketing functions and have had different operational set ups. As part of the Global Marketing transformation program, all regional teams have been consolidated in to one and the new Global Marketing Operations Transformation & Enablement team has been established. The Global Marketing Ops Transformation & Enablement team are tasked with designing and driving this bold new operating model, establishing a blueprint for the future where people, process and technology come together as one. Creating new ways of working that elevate our ability to deliver our marketing plans and innovate continuously. The team are very well regarded, highly skilled and innovative with over 220 full time and agency support staff building our organization structure, process and technology for change. For you to succeed on this team it is important for you to be comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy, to continuously learn and have a curious mindset, to understand and help drive a DevOps Culture, to be proactive, collaborative and to have a sense of humour (optional).

Location: San Jose, London, Bangalore

Travel: Main destinations will include San Jose (Global HQ) & Global Hubs: New York, London, Singapore.

What will your week look like?

You are participating in backlog refinement and creating tests upfront before development starts. You are switching to feature development roles partially to have a full understanding of how tests impact and affect development experience. You keep refactoring the test cases and maintain correct distribution of types of tests. You are continuously decommissioning tests and keep the test running time to minimum. You are also tracking errors through to resolution.

Skills to be used: Test Engineering, Development and automation

What will your quarter look like?

You are forming and participating in communities of excellence which are focused on better testing. You are working on smart ways to converge testing and monitoring for the most important customer journeys. You are maintaining a baseline of metrics which helps in making decisions on testing strategy for all in Enablement pods. You are working with Ops team to bring software build time QA practices to Marketing campaigns execution. You are not a typical tester – you are a full stack developer which focuses on testing and features of testing. You are building good understanding and relationships with business users and forming a great metal model of how your work delivers value. Your coding skills are exemplary.

Skills to be used: Testing best practices, Testing frameworks and patterns, Architecture patterns, Communication and soft skills.

What will your year look like?

You are triaging the tests which are no longer required while introducing new frameworks for keep the testing capability in ecosystem healthy. Your efforts are bearing fruit as development time testing and run time monitoring is now converging. Tests are becoming synonyms to documentation and domain model can be kept healthy by keeping the tests plans maintained. Marketing campaigns QA is also massively automated.

Skills to be used: Collaboration, Team spirit, Continuous learning.

Education & Experience required:

  • Technology degree Education and Technology certifications.

  • Multiple year, Software Testing and automation experience in agile environments and DevOps culture.

  • Experience of working in Product and Platform thinking teams.

  • Essential experience in managing multiple small/medium workstreams in parallel.

  • Digital marketing experiences a big plus
