Splunk University Recruiting Operations Coordinator (Long-term Contract) in San Francisco, California

Role

Splunk is seeking stellar Full-Cycle Recruiting Coordinator who will support our Products Recruiting Team to attract and hire the top intern and new graduate candidates that will be key to building our next generation platform and products. You will be working in a team oriented environment, supporting a global Recruiting and Human Resources organization, and reporting into our Global University Recruitment Manager. In this role, you will be tasked with forming successful relationships with our internal clients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare employment agreements for domestic and international candidates

  • Onboard international and local employees in our HRIS system

  • Work with employees across multiple time zones

  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion throughout projects and tasks

  • Multi-task to manage a heavy workload and prioritize effectively

  • Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Complete projects as needed and anticipate/ identify potential issues

  • Operate independently with minimal supervision

  • Maintain professional demeanor and remain calm under pressure

  • Exercise good judgment and initiative

  • Run and monitor background checks

  • Planning, scheduling, and hosting batch recruiting days

  • Designing and coordinating epic events to attract talent (i.e. meet ups, hackathons, recruiting days)

  • Scheduling interviews - onsite, remote, and via skype, vidyo or webex

  • Coordinating and booking travel including flights and hotels for our candidates

  • Hosting candidates while onsite to ensure an amazing candidate and hiring manager experience

  • Assisting with overall candidate management

  • Ensuring a positive candidate experience no matter where the interview takes place

  • Some sourcing assistance

Requirements

  • Prior event coordination experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dynamic HR or Recruiting related role or prior customer service experience

  • Strong calendar management skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to establish relationships externally and internally with individuals across all functions of our organization

Nice to Haves

  • Applicant Tracking System (Jobvite, Workday, etc.) or HRIS experience preferred

  • Experience working with an in-house Recruiting or Human Resources team

  • Outlook calendaring experience

  • Prior experience communicating in a multicultural, multinational environment with team members who are based in the US and Internationally

  • Knowledge of employment guidelines and practices

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
