Position Overview

As a Senior Motion Graphic Designer at Autodesk, you will help build the video brand strategy and innovation for Autodesk’s brand in construction. You will work closely with the Creative Director on creative output including brand identity, digital and out-of-home creative execution, visual storytelling in video, social campaign asset development, product and customer marketing videos, the marketing website, and on-site experiences for hosted and third party events including Autodesk University.

As a key member of the Creative team, you will have the opportunity to level-up all our branded and non-branded videos towards the overall video strategy, but more importantly provide creative solutions for effective and efficient workflows. We are a big fan of collaboration as you will be working with Autodesk Construction Solutions Marketing team, but you’ll have plenty of opportunity to collaborate with other teams within Autodesk family

Responsibilities

  • Daily responsibilities are to create video assets for ACS which involves several departments such as Corporate, Product Marketing, Customer, Content, Social, HR, Executive, etc.

  • Build and own effective strategies to address the creative needs for a variety of work including different styles and needs across Marketing as well as Autodesk Construction Solutions

  • Be a champion of Autodesk Construction Cloud brand standards in all aspects of creative work

Minimum Qualifications

  • An inspiring portfolio of creative work

  • Energy, drive, passion and enthusiasm to do and be the very best about quality, not quantity

  • Deep knowledge and experience both creatively and technically in following fields: Broadcast, web, social and event deliverables

  • Strong background in storytelling, animation, music and timing

  • Solid understanding of the post production pipeline: Offline & online, general compositing, screen compositing / replacement, picture clean up, logo & wire removal, rotoscoping, color correction, reflection removal, image stabilization, grain removal/matching, tracking, time/speed morphs, project archiving and mixing

  • Proven understanding of devices, frame rates, codecs, file formats and cameras

  • An extraordinary sense of taste and an ability to adapt to a variety of visual styles and remain consistent with brand throughout all videos

  • Outstanding communication and relationship skills, including collaborating cross-functionally within the Creative team and organization

  • When available, travel onsite for photo/video shoots
