About the role
Athleta is seeking a product obsessed, strategic, and innovative leader that is accountable for leading the design and implementation the future of our supply chain. This individual will act as the strategic lead for the brand to determine supply chain needs based on product strategies to help drive the strategic vision for the processes, work flows and best practices to integrate our product teams with our supplier base. To do this, he/she will partner closely with all the Product teams, including but not limited to Production, Sourcing, Fabric R&D, Technical Design, Design, Merchandising, Inventory Management, and Marketing, on transforming our process from conception to commercial release. This individual will also lead the advancement and optimization of our P2M process to support our supply chain needs and lead the Digital product creation transformation. This position will provide leadership, consultation and project management in the implement business practices and strategic transformation.
What you'll do
Lead the Supply Chain of the future transformation across Athleta, a multi yeareffort to connect our teams, process and plans more seamlessly.
Lead in the Product to Market transformation of the pipeline calendar to support our supply chain.
Develop the Digital roadmap and transformation work for our end to end value chain
Develop advanced capabilities to enable responsive capabilities
Responsible for the direction, coordination and delivery of process improvement projects that will enable the supply chain effectiveness.
Partner heavily with our Gap International Sourcing teams and strategy leads to drive continuous improvement, sourcing landscape and building out the future capabilities for our business along our vendor community.
Participate in consumer testing insight to uncover the customer needs.
Lead and support initiatives and programs aimed at improving business process and results.
Partner with cross-functional leadership team to identify opportunities for integration improvements, and lead various cross-functional initiatives as directed
Lead the Project manager for all supply chain initiatives to ensure the timely execution of goals.
Implement repeatable processes, work-flows & best practices to help identify key market opportunities and bring novel concepts to life.
Attend industry conferences to stay abreast on new technologies capabilities, relevant market trends and new partners that can bring value to our business.
Who you are
BA/MS preferred in Business, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineer with expertise in Retail and Management
15+ years of progressive supply chain and operations experience with a global apparel manufacturer, retailer or marketer; ideally working in a high growth business and have a performance background
Black Belt Six Sigma certification and Lean knowledge a plus
Experienced in managing complex innovation projects with a focus on product concepting, design and delivery
Possess deep knowledge of product to market process, supply chain, and end to end product operations
Proven track record building visions, gaining cross functional buy in, and executing projects to launch
Ability to lead high profile initiatives, project teams, across multiple functions.
Experience developing and/or implementing Lean/continuous improvement initiatives
Demonstrated ability to lead with curiosity and ability to think creatively.
Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Excellent at setting priorities, fostering cohesion and inspiring cross functional teams.
A strategic leader who can think long- term and across the enterprise showing strong business awareness, critical analysis, integration of information, and the ability to develop an action- oriented plan
Able to use rigorous logic, insights and methods to solve problems with effective solutions
Possess system thinking skills and an ability to connect dots holistically
Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners
Demonstrated executive presence, ability to navigate complexity, serve as a bridge across creative, technical, and analytical teams, and collaborate across a senior leadership team
Willing and able to travel as needed.
