Facebook is seeking a highly strategic and detail-oriented Program Manager to join Facebook’s Business Planning & Operations team to support our Business Product Marketing (BPM) organization. The mission of the Business Planning & Operations group is to maximize business performance and improve operational excellence by being the objective, trusted partner to the Business Product Marketing organization.This person will partner effectively with leadership across the BPM organization and will work cross-functionally with several teams at Facebook with the objective of enabling leadership to make effective, analytically driven, and strategic operating decisions via crisp business case articulation and project plans. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the digital advertising industry & have a proven record of driving strategic planning, cross functional projects by using clear frameworks, deploying excellent communication tactics, and programmatic rigor in helping us address business priorities. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Facebook, highly analytical, very organized, an excellent problem solver, a fast learner, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to focus on the details while thinking strategically. The candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong technical acumen, and experience managing and driving accountability across cross-functional work streams and stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  1. Program manage key BPM wide cross functional projects that help simplify product GTM and articulate value to BPM audiences and stakeholders

  2. Identify gaps and propose changes to existing policy & systems. Develop scalable processes and best in class frameworks across the organization

  3. Improve operational excellence through identification of gaps and silos and an efficient execution of initiatives, remove obstacles, and create improved processes to the business

  4. Partner closely with other cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations, Finance, Product and Marketing to drive strategic and operational alignment on key initiatives

  5. Drive accountability, timelines and consistent adherence to program plans for large cross-functional initiatives

  6. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in annual business planning, headcount management, key organizational performance metrics and other operational projects

  7. Support BPM in medium/long-term planning including business potential, resourcing and org design

  8. Be an excellent communicator, an agile and creative problem solver and build relationships and collaborate across functions. Demonstrate the ability to get complex things done and drive organizational-wide impact

  9. Build partnerships with GMS Operations leaders and key cross-functional stakeholders

  10. Build cross-functional relationships to help solve complex interdisciplinary problems on behalf of your business stakeholders

  11. Ability to move seamlessly between conversing with Leadership, Product Managers, Analysts and GMS staff. Demonstrate proven ability to build strong working relationships with business partners

  12. this is a highly cross-functional role, so a low ego and a high instinct for collaboration are a must

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS

  2. 12+ years of work experience in Sales Operations, Business Planning, and/or Strategy consulting, or 8+ years of experience with MBA/Masters degree

  3. Experience working with a Product Marketing organization & establishing GTM processes

  4. Experience designing and launching org wide scalable processes including headcount planning

  5. Demonstrated problem solving experience with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets

  6. Demonstrated experience to present technical content to audiences

  7. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working effectively with all organizational levels

  8. Proficiency with structuring analysis and executive presentations

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA or graduate degree

  2. Experience working independently, managing multiple concurrent projects and driving initiatives in a cross-functional environment

  3. Experience extracting data from large/complex databases and visualization
