LinkedIn's Business Operations team is looking for a Manager to help grow our Sales Solutions business. This person will partner with senior Marketing and cross-functional leaders to set strategy and drive top- and bottom-line impact through objective analysis, operational insights and strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for driving our Sales Solutions monetization engine by ideating and analyzing the impact of marketing initiatives and exploring potential growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable and skilled at prioritizing opportunities, crafting a thoughtful plan, and at rolling up their sleeves to get stuff done.

Responsibilities :

  • Identify, scope, and execute upon strategic initiatives for the business.

  • Define and drive analyses to promote a deep and holistic understanding of marketing performance, growth drivers, and trends among leaders of the business.

  • Keep your finger on the pulse of the business to ensure it is operating as successfully as possible, stepping in to help drive improvements as needed

  • Work in close partnership with marketers and a cross-functional team (e.g., Sales, Business Analytics, Product, FP&A) to advance key business priorities

  • Communicate key insights to senior executives and the cross-functional team, driving alignment for action.

  • Contribute to broader corporate initiatives both on an on-going or ad-hoc basis as needed.

  • Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.

Basic Qualifications :

  • BA/BS degree in engineering, math, statistics, physics, computer science or related discipline

  • 6+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking or a strategy-related role

Preferred Qualifications :

  • MBA degree

  • Experience with enterprise software, SaaS or online advertising

  • Experience in marketing with an interest in digital media, consumer technology and monetization

  • Experience solving real-world business and product problems using relational databases

  • Experience working with large datasets and using practical statistical analyses

  • Experience building and maintaining complex models

  • Expert knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of SQL, Tableau (and/or desire to learn).

  • Strategic thinker with practical business understanding to drive from insight to recommendation.

  • Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources and delivering results in challenging situations

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations

  • Ability to articulately present and debate recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior leadership

  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
