Facebook Legal Integrity Program Manager in San Francisco, California

Summary:

The Security, Investigations, and Integrity group within our Legal department is looking for an experienced program manager with a demonstrated record of executing dynamic, innovative and solution-driven initiatives to facilitate organizational governance, communication and collaboration on high-priority platform Integrity issues. As a Legal Integrity Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the Legal organization and among cross- functional teams which include Product, Policy, Engineering, Operations and more. This is a highly visible role that requires strong communication, excellent stakeholder management, and an ability to design and scale operational processes. This is a full-time position.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage the communication, collaboration, and coordination strategy for Integrity programs across the entire Legal organization and with over a dozen cross-functional Integrity teams

  2. Design, coordinate and implement cross-functional processes and governance across the Legal organization on high-priority platform Integrity issues, including project intake and tracking, roadmap and goals planning, coverage maps and partner/SME tracking

  3. Develop and manage structured communication channels and information-sharing forums including a central knowledge base, regular leadership updates, and communication channels to facilitate prioritization alignment, program updates, process changes, and emerging risk identification

  4. Design and implement escalation policies and procedures for high-priority Integrity escalations requiring Legal input or approval

  5. Provide project management support for high-priority, cross-functional Integrity projects, driving coordination and deliverables across Legal teams

  6. Understand needs of Legal and Integrity teams, obtain feedback on processes & strategies to best address team needs, and establish best practices for ongoing engagement

  7. Build and maintain relationships across multiple cross-functional and partner teams

  8. Proactively participate in organization wide integrity and safety forums, groups and networks

  9. identify emerging trends and risks with the ability to translate this information into tactical recommendations for Legal Integrity

  10. Build subject matter expertise in the trust and safety and integrity space, stay up to date on technology, and identify key partnerships to help define company and Legal roadmaps

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS or Advanced Degree

  2. 8+ years of work experience in consulting, business operations, program management, or other operational discipline

  3. Experience leading large departmental and enterprise-wide projects and driving communications and status updates with senior stakeholders

  4. Experience working with technical, cross-functional teams

  5. Experience developing long-term strategy and executing tactical action plans to implement that strategy

  6. Experiencing being a thought leader in developing efficient and innovative process-based solutions to support scaling and complex organizations

  7. Experience with designing and building governance and/or operational programs and processes

  8. Experience influencing and adapting to different working styles based on teams involved

  9. Experience communicating with technical and business stakeholders

  10. Experience working on Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Regulatory, or Policy projects
