Federal Reserve Bank Director, People Strategy Program Integration in San Francisco, California

We are looking for a strategicDirector, People Strategy Program Integrationto lead the integration and alignment of People strategy across People functions to support achievement of the Bank’s vision to be a premier public service organization.

Highlights of Responsibilities:

  • You will stand-up the People Strategy and Program Integration function to support achievement of Bank’s strategy and vision
  • Collaborate with the People Leadership Team to develop a strategy and integration roadmap for programs, process and infrastructure
  • Build strong relationships with and drive strategy alignment and integration across People teams
  • Identify and advance future-focused, modern and inclusive innovations, practices and programs that improve our people’s experience by design
  • Scan and incorporate people and business trends to ensure people strategy supports expectations of modern workforce future, current and retired
  • Provide thought leadership to incorporating inclusive and Flex-for-Your-Life principles across People programs, policies and practices
  • Monitor execution of integration initiatives with regular progress reporting, identifying potential gaps and recommended solutions
  • Design and conduct cross-team alignment workshops
  • Keep a pulse on industry trends and changes in technologies, competitive landscape and key market changes
  • Present to People leadership team regularly to provide status assessments of strategy and integration progress

What it takes to succeed:

  • Typically has 12 years of HR, strategy, program integration, change management or related experience; requires 7 years of progressive people and business leadership experience in diverse roles with increasing responsibilities across major projects and programs
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Strategic Planning or similar field of study, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with people strategy, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness
  • Strong change management experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to cultivate long-term relationships both internally and externally
  • A growth approach, sense of curiosity and dedication to the team’s success
  • Ability to leverage data to make recommendations and decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong executive presence
  • Ability to develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization and inspire trust and confidence both internally and externally
  • Excellent business insight, strong strategic planning and analytic skills
  • Ability to lead optimally with ambiguity, lead multiple projects through completion on time and on budget and to prioritize in a constantly evolving environment
  • Validated attention to detail, organization and the highest standards for accuracy and precision

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience across business areas, in addition to human resources
