Administrative Assistant II

Responsible for providing high level administrative support to an individual or department.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Supports projects by assisting manager/department, coordinates and maintains multi-department and multi-executive calendars and schedules as well as contributes to meetings to ensure project deliverables are met.

  • Prepares correspondence and reviews documentation for conformance with internal policies and procedures.

  • Will maintain files, orders supplies, and coordinate meeting logistics including occasional external event planning.

  • Handles travel arrangements and expense reports. May screen, handle or distribute incoming calls.

  • Ability to carry themselves in a highly professional and confidential manner with a commiserate skill in communicating both verbally and in writing across a range of mediums with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Requires a HS diploma or GED; 4 + years administrative experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • BA/BS degree preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Calendar

  • Location is in Indianapolis, no exceptions or work from home option

  • Hours between 33 and 40 per week

  • Experience working with confidential information or in a similar type of environment is a plus
