The Mechanical Engineer will be a key technical member of the instrument development team. The role will focus on the design and development of the next generations optical genome mapping system for genome finishing and structural variations analysis.

• 5 years in architecture of systems - Automation & Semiconductor experience - Critical thinking and an interdisciplinary approach to problem solving - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong knowledge and experience in mechanical engineering or motion control - Requires previous experience with the development and launch of a commercial instruments - Experience in tolerance analysis, thermal analysis, vibration analysis - Strong interaction with external partners for development and manufacturing - Previous experience in managing external partners for development or manufacturing activities is a plus
