HII-MDIS is currently seeking an IT Security Training Specialist This position requires the ability to take concepts and procedures and develop cohesive eLearning materials in the field of IT Security. The focus of this position is onapplication training, such as KACE, Nessus, Palo Alto, and Trend Deep Security. Limited travel may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):

  • Provide subject matter expertise on IT Security concepts, applications, and best practices

  • Develop training content focused on IT Security

  • Present IT Security training materials in an eLearning environment

Qualifications and Experience :

Required –

Education: Bachelor's degree (additional specialized education can substitute the degree requirement)

Experience: A minimum of nine (9) years of experience, with at least six (6) years specifically in a training development role

The IT Security Training Specialist will be responsible for working on the following tasks:

  • Facilitating and coordinating the development of IT security training materials.

  • Creating and developing distance learning using multimedia development tools

  • Editing documents using a set of vetted guidelines

  • Collaborating with a creative, synergetic team

  • Providing subject matter knowledge to other teams

  • Maintaining project documentation

  • Producing professional quality work within tight deadlines and evolving priorities

  • Partnering with other subject matter experts to obtain information, validate content, and evaluate the effectiveness of course delivery

  • Utilizing training tools and technologies to deliver design solutions.

Preferred –

Candidate for this position should possess the following:

  • One or more of the following certifications

  • CompTia A+

  • CCNA Security

  • Security+

  • Network+

  • Experience training adult learners in the field of IT Security

  • Work and interact with others in a team environment

  • Accuracy and attention to detail and good organizational skills

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
