Job Description Summary:
The Executive Meeting Manger is responsible for the management of group-driven revenue generation at the resort to include; direct sales to Vertical market segments through group room sales, group associated food & beverage sales and additional revenues as appropriate. In addition, this position is required to provide continued support of the resort’s culture in accordance with established standards. Maintain effective relationships with all associates throughout the resort in order to provide a strong, supportive and thriving environment. Assist in the development and execution of the annual business plan. Assist in mentoring, cultivating and motivating a team of skilled professionals to effectively maximize profit and on-going partnerships for the resort.
Enforce all resort standards, policies, and procedures with resort associates.
Prioritize and organize work assignments, delegate responsibilities effectively.
Lead by example and assist with driving performance of departmental colleagues and associates and follow through.
Effectively model and maintain resort mission statement and guiding principles.
Analyze and resolve problems while exercising good judgment and maintaining the best interest of the resort.
Effectively plan and implement processes and procedures necessary to ensure effective associate relations, customer satisfaction, and achievement of budgeted resort revenues.
Maintain confidentiality of all guest and resort information.
Effectively plan for the future of the Sales deployment and assist in preparing detailed plans in order to forecast and prepare for current and future years.
Strategically analyze market environments and effectively devise sales strategies to achieve or exceed financial objectives.
Effectively sell the property personally.
Read and interpret market-relevant reports and other sources of data.
Effectively measure department performance and devise action steps to achieve financial objectives.
Effectively motivate department associates and maintain a cohesive team.
Effectively interact with all levels of associates within the resort.
Work effectively with all departments in order to meet their needs.
Respond to all associate concerns in a calm and objective manner.
Perform all required job duties within the department and scope of the position.
Input and access data in a computer in a timely manner.
Understand guest inquiries and provide responses.
Lift, push or pull twenty pounds in order to fulfill job duties and assist throughout the resort.
Endure physical movements in carrying out job duties.
Maintain complete knowledge of all resort services/features and hours of operation.
Maintain knowledge of corporate marketing communications guidelines.
Promote positive relations with guests, associates and the community.
Maintain a high level of knowledge of the competition’s product.
Anticipate and respond to all customer needs in a timely manner.
Attend designated trade and media trips.
Join local charities and organizations.
Attend social, industry and community events.
Maintain file base of client information that is local, regional and national.
Entertain clients as necessary.
Travel for industry events as necessary.
Work effectively with all contracted ad or other related agencies.
Participate in/plan special events.
Develop relationships with other industry professionals to create awareness of resort in community/region.
Help produce and promote special group events.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving clients and operational issues. Ability to be proactive and innovative.
Conduct daily duties and behaviors in manners consistent with senior leadership and established leadership guidelines.
Model the resort and company’s core values.
Other duties as may be assigned by the Vice President of Sales & Marketing or Senior Leadership
Preferred Qualifications: ·Computer literacy and the ability to utilize Word, Excel and department-specific programs. ·Desire to progress within the hospitality industry. ·Prior hotel/resort-related sales experience of 2 years or greater. ·Proven sales success in career. ·Prior leadership experience preferred.
Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to work well under pressure
Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
Must be highly detailed orientated
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Must possess excellent communication skills

Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking and stair climbing.
Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height
Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs;
Must be able to bend, squat, push and pull frequently;
Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, squeezing, overhead reaching, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently.
