Savage is currently hiring a Senior Treasury Accountant to join our team in Midvale, UT.

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for supporting the Treasury function including cash management, debt compliance, cash forecasting, equipment leasing, treasury internal controls and month end and year-end close activities. This position offers a hybrid work schedule of both in-office and remote work options.
What you will be doing:
Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts.
Work with treasury accountant to manage daily and monthly cash needs utilizing available lines of credit to ensure cash is available for business needs.
Maintain debt roll forward schedules and prepare related journal entries.
Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations.
Oversee monthly accounting close activities related to Treasury.
Assist in year-end financial audit and annual bank audit, including footnote preparation for debt.
Prepare quarterly and annual debt compliance reporting.
Prepare monthly borrowing base calculation.
Work closely with banking partners to manage setup, changes and closures of bank accounts.
Assist in implementing new bank technologies, products and services to improve cash cycle and simplify company operations.
Assist in treasury integration activities for business acquisitions.
Assist in treasury internal control compliance.
Manage unclaimed property and file annual reports.
What you need to be successful:
MBA, MAcc or equivalent Graduate Degree experience in finance.
5+ years work experience in treasury or financial related roles.
CPA or CTP Certification encouraged but not required.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Hyperion, Oracle and OBI encouraged.
Ability to understand, analyze and draw insights from financial processes and statements and to break down a problem, find a solution, and implement a plan
The ability to communicate clearly and positively with team members and customers.
