DESCRIPTION
The Associate is responsible for analyzing and processing hospital inpatient data, building and maintaining financial models and report templates, and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions for Cloudmed’s clients. The Associate will serve as the day-to-day project manager overseeing all aspects of the account life cycle for various reimbursement projects. Using their extensive problem-solving skills and strong critical thinking abilities, the Associate will provide client hospitals with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from a proprietary software, data processing, and analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee data requests, receipt of client data, processing of client data and delivery of results
Analyze hospital inpatient data and leverage Medicare databases to build financial models and report templates to identify client recovery trends and key performance indicators
Review federal cost reports to develop estimated recovery projections for existing and prospective clients (IME/GME projects)
Providing training and support
Performing data analytics and processing
Creating client deliverables
Serving as project manager and maintaining deliverable timeline
Documenting project milestones
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1-3 years of experience specific to business analytics in an acute hospital setting or other relevant field.
Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) required in business, healthcare, technology or accounting
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, organizational, and writing skills
Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft Office Software including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint required
Experience with VBA preferred. Familiarity with hospital systems, patient accounting data, and/or databases
