Job Code: 00954-43039 Full-time Nights rotating weekends St. Mark's Hospital provides a full array of services to the surrounding community, including the following service lines: cardiac, NICU, orthopedics, behavioral health, skilled nursing, acute rehab, as well as many others. St. Mark's Hospital is nestled at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains and only a stone s throw away from many national parks, including Moab, Zion, Canyonlands, etc. POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Nursing Assistance assists in basic patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager and general supervision of the staff nurse. The CNA is responsible for the care appropriate to the ages of the patients served-including adolescent, adult and geriatric. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups. QUALIFICATIONS: * Current Nursing Assistant Certification. * Current BLS. * Formal nurse aid training. * Previous CNA or unit secretary experience preferred. * Ability to lift 50 pounds. Must able to push and pull up to 150 pounds on cart. Knowledge of medical terminology. Good customer service skills.
