Job Description

Position Summary

Under the direction of management, the Facilities Technician will perform a wide variety of maintenance functions required to maintain the physical plant of the shopping center.

Responsibilities

• Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various building systems

• Operating walk behind and ride on scrubbers

• Operating and maintaining hi-lifts, trash compactors, freight lift and vehicle fleet

• Repairing, modifying, and moving retail merchandising units (RMU’s) and marketing event set-ups

• Performing general maintenance and repairs, as assigned including doors/closures, signs, minor roof, floor tile and plumbing repairs, and electrical.

• Repairing minor concrete and blacktop repairs

• Drywall installation, finishing, painting and repairs

• Perform lawncare, irrigation and ground maintenance duties

• Assist with the removal of snow and ice by vehicle and/or by hand

• Assisting with maintaining inventory records

• Any other work that may be requested of the maintenance department including maintenance of HVAC equipment, exhaust fans and various space heaters

• Some shift work and shared on-call emergency response is required for evenings and weekends

• Communicate with tenants and management as required or directed

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3 Years in related field

• 2 years Tech School Grad. or Certificate

• Valid Driver's License required

• Weekend shifts required
