We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary

This entry/developmental level role within the Employee Resource Center learns to provide first point of contact support to employees, retirees, leaders, and HR peer groups on HR related issues, programs, policies, and processes. Individual items include but are not limited to:

Provides the highest level of HR customer service through interaction with employees, retirees, external businesses, leaders, and HR peer groups through Helpline call system, electronic, and case management systems.

Full life cycle of employment transactions and support compliance documentation, payroll inquiries, time administration inquiries and support, benefit transactions, employee loans, military programs administration, HR emergency relief and response support, special payment and expense processing, HRIS role inquiries, general personnel history requests, legal human resource inquiries, HR policy inquiries, government and internal audit support, service award administration, termination and access revocation tracking, education assistance administration, verification of employment inquiries, and government benefit processing assistance.

This level learns to assume responsibility for the first point of contact for HR inquiries by employees, retirees and external businesses via HR Helpline, case management, and chatbot. Processes include, but are not limited to, policy inquiries, time entry and payroll questions, employment verification, employee loan processing, education assistance processing, general document management, and general inquiry responses.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

0-2 years of related experience. Specific skills include the following:

  • Customer service skills

  • Recent experience with HR Helpline

  • Basic knowledge of company organizational structure

  • Basic knowledge of human resources policies and programs

  • Experience with Avaya, Success Factors, ServiceNow and SAP

  • Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient personal computer skills.

Education Requirements

Required Degree (equivalency not accepted in lieu of required degree):

GED or High School Graduate
