Responsibilities

  • Taking minutes at meetings and maintaining records of assignments and progress

  • Making travel arrangements and finding accommodations for training seminars, conferences and additional project-related events

  • Aid project teams by providing administrative, technical and clerical support

  • Ensuring key partners receive project information

  • Analyzing data, developing reports, proofreading and editing documents, and preparing presentations

  • Requesting information needed to fill in incomplete documents

  • Finding information online using research tools

  • Providing support to Project Managers by organizing team meetings and communication per project specifications in order to maintain project deliverable schedules Requirements

  • Knowledge of database and file management

  • Adeptness in Construction Estimating

  • Proficiency in construction

  • Practical knowledge of Construction Projects

  • Construction project accounting experience highly preferred

  • Construction Accounting experience

  • Construction Cost experience

  • Solid understanding of Commercial Construction Projects

  • General familiarity with Construction Management

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Construction Estimator

  • Experience with Construction Documents

  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

  • At least 1 year of business/office experience

  • Demonstrated abilities with the Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • This position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent, though a BA/BS degree in business, communications, or related field is preferred

  • Experience with project management software is a plus, i.e. Microsoft Project, JIRA, Mavenlink, and NetSuite

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds
